What are some of the sufferings you have seen or experienced in your life that have brought you to tears? How are things you cry about today different from the things you cried about as a child?

God promises to end all our suffering and wipe away all our tears. How does that promise help a person who is homeless, with no job, no family, no food, and no hope? How does our Christian community respond to such a person? Are we doing enough? Why or why not?
