Sunday Obligation:

Archbishop Mark has made a decision to dispense the Sunday obligation for this weekend in those cases where there are safety concerns for parishioners traveling to Mass.

A message from Archbishop Mark

A considerable number of our parishes will be impacted by Cyclone Alfred over the weekend.  In areas that have been impacted, please contact your parish office or view their website regarding Mass times and only travel to the parish is it is safe to do so.  For this weekend, in those areas impacted by the cyclone where it is considered unsafe to travel, the obligation to attend Sunday Mass does not apply. My concern is always for the safety of parishioners, volunteers and parish staff.  Keep safe and God bless.
