REFLECTION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE – by Lisa-Marie Calderone-Stewart

There is often a lot of talk and frenzy about the end of the world coming. It especially happens with certain natural phenomenon such as comets, eclipses, and meteor showers. It’s important to understand that Jesus insisted we cannot know the day or the hour, that we cannot predict when this will happen. Sometimes unusual events in the heavens are just natural phenomenon for us to enjoy, not to worry about.

Do you worry about the end of the world? If so, why? If not, why not?

When you hear talk about predictions of the end of time, how do you feel? What do you say? What do you think about?

Do you ever worry about dying? If so, why? If not, why not?

Are you interested in cosmic happenings – planet alignments, comets, stars and the like? How so?
